We wanted to let you know of a “wee” update!
During this year’s Deaf Awareness Week, Michael was invited and gave a talk about Hearing and Hearing Loss to the well-behaved class of Primary 3 in Carmyle Primary School, Carmyle.
As you can imagine, it all went well, even though he definitely passed the given 15 minutes talk mark. Somewhat 30 minutes plus he was still chatting away with the kids, ever so egger to find out about their ears and how they work.
Michael said “I had brilliant time. All the pupils were so good and wanting to find out about “ears”. I was so impressed that they knew about “hammer”, “anvil” and “stirrup”. And I even got few high-fives!”.
We want to thank all the pupils in Primary 3, Miss Laura MacDonald (Teacher) and Mrs Anne Gillespie (Teacher) for the warm invite.
